Third Special Session: still no solution with less than a week to go

With less than a week to go, still no solution on the state's budget shortfall.

At issue, taxes to fund the budget passed in the regular session.

The governor is calling on lawmakers to renew half of an expiring one-percent sales tax.

Thursday, one tax proposal was rejected and another, by Rep. Bishop R-Lafayette, was pulled from consideration.

The house is expected to continue the debate Friday morning at 9:30.
