Startup business conference today at NOMA

Launch Fest 2012, a day long conference for startup enterprises, will take place at the New Orleans Museum of Art today from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The event will feature addresses from business leaders and an invitation-only lunch session on angel investing.
The conference also will mark the culmination of the Launch Pad Ignition program. Launch Pad Ignition is a startup accelerator that helps business founders refine their product offering, fine tune their business plans and raise funding. It is a program within Launch Pad, a co-working and incubator space in New Orleans, that houses more than 70 companies.
The seven companies that participated in the program this year will pitch their businesses at the event.
