St. Tammany Parish kills three-quarter cent sales tax

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. —

St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister announced this week she will rescind an unpopular economic development tax.

The three-quarter-cent sales tax was adopted by the Parish Council last November.
