Mardi Gras retailers feeling the effects of parade cancellations

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Mardi Gras parades are quickly getting canceled ahead of the 2021 season, creating some widespread effects that stretch down to carnival retailers.

The beads are usually flying off the shelves at Parties Start Here, but lately tha hasn’t been been the case.

“It’s devastating, it’s uh, there’s no way you can describe it.”
